Announcement:
As part of the registration and rostering process, we review the following information (in no particular order) for each player with the goal of assigning them to the most appropriate team for fostering their growth and success:
- Age / experience
- Previous team history
- Input from previous coaches
- An in-person evaluation day
As such, we wanted to communicate the information for the upcoming evaluation day this February. The basic information is as follows:
- Evals will be held at the soccer dome at Shattuck St. Mary's School in Faribault, MN.
- A variety of OSA coaches and administrators will be on hand to operate the evals as well as provide feedback.
- If players are unable to attend for any reason, that is completely fine. The eval day is just one of the tools we utilize when rostering players.
Eval dates and times for the upcoming season are as follows:
The evaluation days for the upcoming 2025 Spring / Summer season have been confirmed. They will take place at the Shattuck-St. Mary's soccer dome at 1234 Shumway Ave, Faribault, MN 55021. The times are as follows:
Boys: Saturday, February 1st
U9-U12 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm
U13-U18 from 8:00 - 9:30 pm
Girls: Saturday, February 15th
U9-U12 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm
U13-U18 from 8:00 - 9:30 pm
A reminder that while attending the evaluation days is recommended so that we have the most current in-person view of the players, it is not required. The eval is just one of the tools that we utilize when forming rosters for the upcoming season.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled eval date, we encourage you to attend one of our Futsal nights where we have OSA coaches and board members available to see players in action. If you have any questions, please contact an OSA board member.
