OHS BOYS SOCCER INFORMATION 2025

The Owatonna High School Boys Soccer program will be having tryouts for all players entering 8th - 12th grade this upcoming 2025/26 school year. Please see more information below:

Captain’s Practice

When: July 28th - August 1st & August 4th - August 8th from 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Where:  Daikin Soccer Complex (1100 Rice Lake Rd)

Other: Bring cleats, a ball, and plenty of water.

Tryout Information

When: August 11th - 15th

Morning Conditioning:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are 8:00 am - 9:30 am @ McKinley Elementary School (1050 22nd St NE)
• Thursday ONLY is at Lake Kohlmeier.
• Please bring cleats and tennis shoes, and plenty of water.
  

Afternoon Skill Evaluation:

• Monday: 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm @ Daikin Soccer Complex (1100 Rice Lake Rd)
• Tuesday - Friday: 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm @ the OHS turf fields (1455 SE 18th St)
• Please bring cleats, a ball, and plenty of water.

Sports Physicals

• Sports Physicals are required to play athletics.
• Please see OHS Activities website for more details

• There will be free sports physicals offered at the Mayo Clinic in Owatonna on July 30th, July 31st, and August 1st from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Registration

• Open from July 18th – August 11th and is required to participate.
• Register through SmartSchoolsK12App on the OHS Activities Website (www.owatonnaactivities.com)

Fall Sports Parents Meeting

• August 12th @ 6:00 pm at the new OHS Auditorium and is required to participate.
• Please bring a check for $200 made out to the Owatonna Soccer Boosters for the fall fundraiser (raffle tickets).
